I cannot say enough good things about SM Mechanical LLC! They recently completed a complex HVAC system replacement at my home, and the entire experience from start to finish was absolutely flawless. The customer service and coordination team are top-notch. Brett, the representative, was incredible (he walked me through the entire process and went above and beyond by activating the Maryland EmPOWER grant to ensure I maximized all available rebates). Emily, the scheduler, made the logistics completely seamless and stress-free. When it came to the installation, the work team (Billy, Anthony, and John) were true professionals. Their craftsmanship on this complex job was excellent, and they were respectful, efficient, and clean. As for the system itself: the hybrid heat pump/furnace model is outstanding. I have never owned such a whisper-quiet air conditioning compressor unit (it is so quiet I literally cannot even tell it’s running!) Best of all, it has completely resolved the long-standing humidity challenges I was facing in the basement. I am so grateful to finally have a comfortable home. Highly recommend. Quality work and everyone was knowledgeable/skilled. We had a leak in our water line somewhere between the meter and the house running under the front yard and house foundation. This was old plumbing circa 1965. I called S M Mechanical on Saturday. They came out Sunday morning to assess and they were on site Thursday. Purcell listened to us and worked out ways to minimize impact to landscaping and interior walls. Job included excavation, external and internal plumbing and cleanup. No job goes perfectly. Five stars for Purcell Oxendine for being super responsive and "owning it." He and his crew take pride in their work with a no-nonsense get-it-done attitude. Text messaging and automatic appointment updates kept everything moving along smoothly. They kept the work site clean. Overall, a professional, respectful, and efficient team. Would absolutely use them again.

SM Mechanical is amazing! They installed a new HVAC system in my condo a few years ago. They had the best price, and were very professional and easy to work with. Since then they have done regular maintenance on the unit. They are always punctual and thorough. One thing I love it that when you call, and actual human answers the phone!
