Refrigerator water supply line repair. See picture. Happy it's repaired. Surprised at the cost. $195.62. $189 plus taxes. My only "complaint".... I was scheduled for a 2pm-5pm slot. They called at 4pm, saying it was now between 4-6pm. The tech showed at 7:20pm. See below why I think it ruptured. Lowes Home Improvement sells the SharkBite 5/16-in OD Push-to-Connect Coupling tor $7. Everything cost way to much these days. I'm still giving CLT Appliance Repair 5 stars as they did what I requested. WHY we think it ruptured. We had to remove the refrigerator to get our hardwood floors refinished. We purchased a Rhino Cart dolly from Northern Tool. We rolled the refrigerator outside onto our deck. The back door of our house was 36" wide, so the refrigerator fit easily thru that door. There must have been some water left in the line and it froze as temperatures dropped below 32°, rupturing the water line. Or, after placing a tarp over the refrigerator, I used a ratchet strap to keep the tarp on and it pinched the water line. Regardless, the rupture/ pinch occurred and had to be repaired. I remember using another company 30 yrs ago when our dryer stopped drying clothes. I don't recall it costing nearly as much. Overall, I'm happy it's repaired and would call CLT Appliance Repair again.

CLT Applliance Repair stands out among repair shops. First, they answer the phone and have a dedicated office person. Second, they were timely. They had an appointment for the very next day, morning or afternoon. Third, the tech (Steve) was impressive: professional (a rarity!), polished, knew what he was doing, had all the tools, and cleaned up afterward as though he’d never been there. Steve is a keeper. CLT Appliance Repair also texted me when they were on the way, and communicative throughout. As for the repair: Excellent. They seem to be one of the few businesses that will fix microwaves. Our (expensive) microwave was worth fixing. Steve diagnosed it correctly, got the part, and fixed it the first time. No extra parts, no runaround. In a world of shysters, con men, and fly-by-night repair guys, CLT Appliance Repair stands out. Well done!

CLT Appliance Repair was great. They were able to come out the next day to repair our washer. Paul was professional and courteous. He quickly identified the problem and was able to replace the part and get our washer working. We will definitely call CLT if we need an appliance repaired in the future. Highly recommend!
