I contacted TWC to clean three small ice makers. Before they would even schedule the work, they required me to sign a 1-year service contract. After signing the contract, no one showed up for over four months, despite multiple phone calls asking for service. Eventually they finally sent technicians out to clean the machines. They sent two technicians for three small ice makers, and then tried to charge extra for the cleaning, even though the cleaning was supposed to be included in the service contract. About a month later, two of the machines stopped working. After more calls and delays, a technician finally came out only to say the machines were “broken” and it would cost around $4,000 to replace them. Instead of offering a reasonable repair solution, they immediately tried to push us into renting equipment from them. So after paying for a contract and additional service charges, we are still left with two broken ice machines and thousands of dollars spent. When I called to cancel the service contract due to the poor service and delays, TWC still forced us to pay for the full year. This company appears to rely heavily on locking customers into contracts, adding extra charges, and pushing equipment rentals instead of actually fixing the problem. The service is slow, unresponsive, and extremely frustrating. Avoid this company. Call a reputable local service provider instead.

Do not use this company! I chose this company because the manufacturer of my oven had them listed as a recommended repair service of their equipment. They charge $124 for the service call and then $124 an hour. I went with it because that to me means they should be familiar with my oven and it should not take them forever. The technician was on his notepad trying to figure out what was wrong, tried to tighten my hinges on my doors that are supposed to be lose which immediately let me know he was not familiar with with my product. But the worst part is he sat in his truck for 45 mins to come up with me a quote and then wanted to bill me for that time he took to quote me. They tried to bill me from the time he arrived, not the time he walked in the door and where my parts would have been about $600, I know because I looked them up, he wanted to charge me $1200 for labor!!! Total of $1800. Sir I will spend $800 more and purchase a brand new one before I pay you that for a repair with a 90 day warranty. I called the office because he tried to bill me from 8:45-10:45. I explained to the supervisor that The appointment was scheduled for 9am. I didn’t arrive to my shop until 8:54 and he didn’t step foot into my building until 9:05. He was back in his truck by 10 he takes 45 mins to price 3 parts. He was not as pleasant or as understanding as I would have liked but basically he said that was their policy. But he would take it down to 1.25 hours vs 2. DO NOT USE THEM BY ANY MEAN NECESSARY. If you have to rob you potential customers, you should just give it up and close your business.

I don't believe there is a better group in Atlanta or in Charleston to take care of our refrigeration needs. They hire well and train well and as a result, Heather, Robin and Austin are spoiling us rotten. We just wanted to give this team a well-deserved shout out. Long overdue.
