Tommy's Refrigeration

We've been using Tommy for 10 years. After owning multiple homes and dealing with all kind of repair guys and contractors, I can say that Tommy and his guys are the most knowledgable, straightforward, and trust-worthy team you're going to find. In 2013, we bought a house with asbestos in the ducting and no AC. We needed our whole HVAC done. We had Costco's vendor and 2 other companies come out for quotes. The prices were insane! Our real estate agent recommend Tommy. Tommy's prices were $3,000-$5,000 less than the other quotes. Tommy's quotes included name brands with good efficiency ratings. Even his abatement quote (removing the asbestos) was a $1,000 lower. We bought a new house in 2016 and had Tommy come out to replace all of the ducting. He gave us a great price and got the job done quickly. We moved again in 2021 into a house with the original AC unit from 1977. Tommy took a look at our ducting and tested the units, he was really honest and said everything looked good and no work was needed. Fast forward to this summer and our AC stopped cooling. We went through our home warranty and their repair guy said it was a total loss. We had Tommy's guys come out for a 2nd opinion and they got it up and running in 48 hours (from assessment, to sourcing parts, to repair). Tommy was always available to answer any questions I had and we felt well informed and comfortable through the whole process.

I personally don't have any thing bad to say about Tommy, except that he should look better at the guys he hired. One of his techs Earl is a tweerker theif and when Tommy gave him money to pay me for work I did he just put it in his pocket and told me I was a. S. O. L . He stole over $5000 dollars of tools from a job in Torrance and got away with it. Earl is nothing but a liar and theif, and all he will end up doing is giving Tommy a bad name. So beware.
