Southwest HVAC

After speaking with a few different companies in the Long Beach area, I happened upon Southwest HVAC given their positive reviews. I'd been looking for someone to decommission the old gas heater on the second floor of my home and install mini splits in both of the bedrooms. Luis came a few days later and was incredibly patient and helpful in discussing different options with me. He was the only person of all the companies I met with to sit down at my kitchen table and compile the quote with me there. The quote wasn't the lowest I received, and also not the highest...but it was this transparency and the way he treated me like a friend or family member that convinced me I had found the right contractor. My intuition was right! Luis and his incredible team at Southwest HVAC couldn't have done a more expert, "white glove" kind of job on the installation. I have a fairly modern home, and they took special care to ensure that anything visible was as streamlined as possible, all while keeping it up to code. For example, they connected the drainage for the two bedrooms so that only one small hidden drainage pipe runs down the back of the house. There were far easier ways of doing this, but they took the route that was the most streamlined and created the best aesthetics. The Daikin units are so quiet you can't hear when they're on at night, and they cool/heat the bedrooms within a few minutes. If you are considering Southwest HVAC but on the fence, this is your sign to go for it! Folks on the team had decades of plumbing, electric, and carpentry experience, took great pride in their engineering and craft, and truly went "the extra mile." Thank you to Luis and the entire team. This sort of integrity is rare, and I am so grateful for your incredible work!

We have been using this Southwest HVAC for the annual maintenance on my Daikin Fit heat pump, and we've been very happy with their service. Their technicians are always thorough, professional, and clearly experienced with this type of system. They take the time to inspect everything carefully and explain any recommendations without any pressure. Their pricing is also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of service they provide. In my opinion, regular maintenance on an expensive HVAC system is cheap insurance, it helps keep the system running efficiently, can prevent costly repairs, and gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy HVAC company.

I used Yelp to request for quotes for a second opinion on my HVAC system on a Thursday night. Southwest HVAC contacted me on Friday morning and offered for a technician to come out on the next Monday, I informed the scheduler that I really needed a quote that day so the scheduler was able to get someone to come that afternoon between 3 - 5. Fabian can promptly at 3pm and looked at my system and showed me what was wrong - I had a blown surge protector and that was why my HVAC wasnt blowing cold air. Absolut Airflow had quoted me the day before and their technician told me I needed a brand new furnace AND air conditioning unit!!!!! Fabian was honest and very knowledgeable and he saved me $20,000!!!! He is the best!!! If you want an honest technician, request for Fabian from Southwest HVAC!!!!
