I received Roy Lyons as a recommendation from a friend. I had two Heat Pumps completely replaced. Roy was competitive with the two other bidders, but didn't try to do the up-sale that I got from the others. Roy really wanted to understand what I wanted/needed. The replacement was scheduled, and the workmen arrived as scheduled and did the work. Communications were very good with Roy (the workers were typical doers, and not the best at comms) and the system was working as expected when the work was done. Roy showed up a few days after the install was complete to ensure all was functioning as expected. Minor damage in shipping to the housing of one of the outdoor units was found by one of the installers and they had the company send a replacement right away and installed at no cost a few days later. After the install was complete there was an issue with a leaking drainpipe. They responded the same day to fix the issue and also arranged to have the drywall repaired at their expense. I will definitely recommend Roy Lyons to others. They did good work, were responsible for their work, were responsive, and arrived when they said they would. Everything you want.

Roy has been my personal go to for heating and cooling for 15+ years. As a home inspector, I appreciate seeing things done correctly. He helped me limp along a 30 year old furnace in my first home until we were in a position to have him replace it with a modern, high efficient system. At our second home, he helped keep our middle aged equipment up and running and installed a commercial grade gas piping system for a supplemental heat source in our cold basement and a new gas range for a reasonable price. In the last year or so, he helped my parents get their 20+ furnace back in service. In the last few weeks, he and his crew got our heat pump back up and running and installed a new gas line for my mother in law’s standby generator at her new home. I highly recommend Roy and his crew. They are knowledgeable, responsive, fair, and honest.

Tech came out for assessment, completely stumped. Told us to call his boss for a quote on what may not even be the issue, called for about 2 weeks straight and got a full voicemail or just no answer lol
