Asked for price of recharging an ac, got a service guy sent out to diagnose for 179$ I got told what I already knew, did not need or want a diagnostic, then to the question of recharge , 2lbs of freon costs same as getting new unit. Could of just told me a price of recharging over phone instead of taking advantage of customers and wasting technicians time.

Iits been a few hot summers ago, I called these people to check my air because it was leaking. In hopes of repairs. My AC was not very old. He acted like it wasn’t fixable and I needed a whole new install. He wanted me to finance a new AC unit.of course you won’t con me for a commission. At that point I was discouraged so I brought window units. Anyway I’m happy to say that there are honest people with small businesses that aren’t trying to rob you and understand that it’s hard. He replaced a fuse and cleaned a pipe and AC stop dripping and blowing and working just the same as when it was first installed. River City has some dishonest folks on their team. Be careful! People don’t care.
