Terry was quick and efficient in getting our new hot water heater installed! He had a partner who helped as well (I think his name was Austin)! Both of them were professional and kind! We paid around $1,800 for the old tank to be hauled away, the new tank installed and for city permits to be done for us! We used Home Depot but Northeast Mechanical Services was the contractor who Home Depot uses! Also, thank you to Dave for getting us a new hot water heater the same day! We had been without hot water for two weeks. So it was nice to be serviced quickly. The light white hot water tank is the old one. The darker hot water tank is the new one.

Northeast Mechanical, Fort Wayne, Indiana- service performed by Scott (12/14/2025). Last night our 20-year-old gas furnace would not ignite: no flame, no heat. Temperatures dipped in a single digits overnight... but our home only dropped from 78°(thermostat normally kept) to around 71° inside the home. We made a call to our warranty company (Pivotal) and they created a trouble ticket around 9:30 am Sunday morning. The temperature was around 14°F but with the wind chill..."feels like" temperatures ranging from -5 to -15°F, according to local reporting posted on the internet. Scott, home had two appointments Sunday morning before ours arrived at our house around 11:30 a.m. (amir 2 hours after our initial call to Pivotal). We've had Scott service our HVAC system before and he was vaguely familiar with our setup. After about 10 minutes of troubleshooting he determined that our ignition element needed to be replaced. This is a type of part Northeast Mechanical typically keep in stock and he had one (already on site) to replace the corroded one. What has been most impressive, every time we've worked with Northeast Mechanical, is the service technicians all have been knowledgeable, well equipped with modern tech (ie. snake camera, which allows them visible access without having to deconstruct the furnace saving customer time, money, and hassle) and show general concern about finding solutions to meeting our best interest. We would highly refer Northeast Mechanical because they don't just accommodate warranty providers and equipment manufacturers but also lending their experience to find optimal solutions in alignment what consumer needs... Prioritizing a solution that accommodates the customer's needs. When it comes to these types of emergencies (fixtures failing in the home) this is greatly appreciated. These situations are expensive and stressful enough. All in all... Scott (the service technician) came out on a Sunday morning, with wind chills between -5 and -15°, at our house within hours from the original ticket, troubleshot problem, fixed problem, and was finished within 30 minutes of arriving. Northeast Mechanical was closed this Sunday December 14th 2025, but Scott was out here fixing our problem nonetheless. GREAT SERVICE!

I had a barrage of questions which the owner graciously addressed & answered reassuringly. Corey & Woody arrived the day of the install; were very skilled & hard working, polite & respectful, did a great job, finished in good time, and cleaned & hauled away the days mess. Corey also took the time to explain how to use my new major appliances. I replaced a 26 year old York AC and an even older furnace with a new Carrier pair hoping to get the better efficiency with newer ones. So far this has been a positive experience and I will be a N.E.Mechanical services customer for all my needs. The owner Dave is great and does answer your questions in a timely manner. That was a great help in making my decision and I’m happy I chose this place to do my business.
