McMullen Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

A van from this company illegally passed me in a no passing zone in the dark and on a curve at 5:45am today on a 2-lane section of Racetrack Road in Hillsborough County. I was already driving a little over the speed limit. If someone was coming around that curve the other way, the McMullen employee would have caused a head on collision. If they don't care about the law or safety on the roads, do you think they'll care about your safety in your home? Or care about following appropriate laws pertaining to their work, such as doing it according to code or pulling permits? I would avoid this place like the plague.

I didn't actually use their services but the young lady I spoke to on the telephone was friendly. I needed help from another friend who's in the business and he wasn't sure if he could get to my property on time because of his workload. He came through for me in the nick of time. I wouldn't hesitate to call McMullen if I have a need.

We have a walk in freezer that is a little over one year old. McMullen came out worked on it then left. About 1 1/2 hours the unit lost power. They came back out both times the price was a little over $300. So now we’re over $600 for a unit that had never been worked on before by anyone else. Then the unit was having more issues. I mentioned that I thought it was unfair that every time they come out it cost $300. They sent another guy out (third time) he spent the afternoon trying to figure out the problem. About a week later the unit went up to 42 degrees. So I’m supposed to pay $1200 for a unit that never had any problems before. Be careful who you hire some companies are just out to get your $
