I had an extremely unprofessional experience with the branch manager, Chad Walton, at the Johnstone Supply location in Jacksonville. I called to inquire about becoming a vendor and briefly explained my goals within the air‑conditioning industry. His immediate response was, “We don’t deal with that—go somewhere else.” I called back to clarify my mission in case there was a misunderstanding, but he repeated that he could not help me and ended the call. Rather than providing a professional explanation of their vendor requirements or directing me to the appropriate contact, the conversation felt dismissive and unnecessarily hostile. The few questions he did ask came across as interrogatory and condescending, which was surprising and disappointing for a company of this size. If this interaction reflects the level of professionalism and customer service at this branch, it raises serious concerns. My experience with Chad Walton was rude, unprofessional, and far below the standard I expected from Johnstone Supply.
