House of Heat

I had an outstanding experience with House of Heat this week. I called Monday, February 23 around 3 PM CST because my furnace had stopped blowing hot air. The dispatcher was incredibly considerate and even mentioned she didn’t want me to get stuck paying overtime rates, so she arranged for a technician to come out quickly. Jason arrived about 45 minutes later. Jason thoroughly diagnosed the issue and shut off the gas after finding the burners were blowing out — something that could have led to carbon monoxide leaking inside or other serious problems. His focus on safety immediately gave me confidence. I was originally scheduled to meet with Josh the next morning for an estimate, but Jason went above and beyond and called him to come that same evening instead. Josh spent about an hour carefully measuring each room to make sure the furnace size would be correct. What impressed me most is that both Jason and Josh proactively called to offer space heaters before I had even agreed to purchase a new furnace. When Josh arrived, he brought two heaters with him — which we absolutely needed because the temperature dropped quickly that night. I was presented with three furnace options and ultimately chose a two-stage unit. By 9 AM the next morning, two technicians were already there removing the old system and installing the new one. The entire process was smooth and efficient. As a final note, the exact same furnace model I chose had been quoted by another HVAC company at about 175% higher, which made me feel even better about my decision. From the dispatcher’s empathy to Jason’s safety focus and Josh’s thoroughness, the service was fast, honest, and genuinely customer-focused.
