I recently had my AC unit serviced by Hilo Aire, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I scheduled the appointment, their team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. They arrived on time, communicated clearly, and made the entire process stress-free. Gerardo was the technician who came out, and he was absolutely amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to thoroughly inspect and service my AC unit without rushing through anything. What really stood out was how honest and informative he was — he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and made sure I knew exactly what was going on with my system. You can tell Gerardo truly cares about his work and about helping customers. He was respectful of my home, very detail-oriented, and made sure everything was running perfectly before he left. My AC is now cooling better than it has in a long time. It’s hard to find companies these days that provide both excellent customer service and quality workmanship, but Hilo Aire definitely delivered on both. I knew it was time to replace my 25 year-old system. I wanted a heat pump and I found Hilo after searching online and made an appointment. Chris came to my house and was able to get my old system going, but I wanted a quote anyway as I knew summer was coming and my luck would run out. He was very thorough. He told me what would work and what would not work so well and what my options were. Having previously received estimates two years ago, I could tell his prices were quite competitive. The combination of great pricing and straightforward advice allowed me too sign up on day one. I decided to add a mini split system for my very hot south facing rooms over the garage. It is working great and I strongly recommend Hilo to anyone seeking not only a heat pump but any new system because they will get honest advice and a great price.
