We had purchased a fireplace insert last year from The Fire Place down 69S and it was installed by our builder last October or November (2024). The owner apparently sold the business to someone else since then. A couple of weeks ago I happened to be standing near the fireplace and noticed that some of the burner ports didn't have flames coming out, so my husband called The Fire Place. Between the two of us it took 3 phone calls/messages, 7-10 days, and prayer 🙏🏼, but we finally got a call back from Luann there who referred us to Farley and Hysaw. I called them yesterday and was told that a technician would come out between 9am-12pm today. At 11:40am I hadn't heard from anyone so I called again to make sure someone was coming. Long story short, Eric arrived around 12:10am and was very personable and polite. He pretty quickly discovered that the issue was with the insert itself (manufactured by FlameGlo). They had failed to drill about 7 of the burner port holes. So he went to his truck, got his drill, drilled them completely, and voila.....flames. 🔥🔥 I'm disappointed in the manufacturer for failing to finish such an incredibly simple part of the job, but I'm thankful that Eric was our technician who was able to correct the issue promptly. He was a super nice, very professional young man, which is a blessing of its own. Would use Farley and Hysaw again in the future. 👍

I cannot say enough good things about Farley and Hysaw!! Heather, in the finance office went above and beyond to help me find financing for a new unit! The guys that put it in accidentally broke a light fixture in the hallway, they went and got a replacement for that one plus another in the hallway so they would match!! Thank you so much for your professionalism!!

What I liked most about Farley and Hysaw is that even on a super busy day if you call during regular business hours they make every effort to come that same day and if they show up after 5 pm you don't get billed after hours fees because you placed your request during regular business hours - they were just that busy that day with so many calls that it took them until after 5 pm to get to you. Most companies would call you back to reschedule. This says to me that they go above and beyond for their customers. The technicians also have the ability to take payments on the spot. They show you the invoice, email it to you, and email the receipt. It is nice to know things are taken care of immediately and that i don't have to wait around for a bill in the mail with a surprise amount.
