Elevation Mechanical

I hired Elevation Mechanical because of their performance rating, price for the job and a meeting with the owner. Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been anything but great! The initial installation was completed, but the installers failed to protect my home while moving the equipment in and out. They damaged my wall and bannisters on the staircase. The owner did pay for another contractor to come and do the repairs, but he has since treated me resentfully as if it were my fault. During the A/C install, the tech disappeared and I found out an hour or two later that he went home ill, and there was no communication to me about that. Just a few days ago, they came out to do their service call on the A/C, per the contract agreement and one of the Techs that came out, they came as a team, one seemed to be the tech, the other a lead of some sort, told me that we needed to get an inspection of the furnace done. When I questioned him and said that it should have been inspected and finalized a year ago, his comment was that he didn't know, he was just told that RBD had changed their parameters, and that we needed to get an inspection. I was now under the impression they never pulled a permit, and it was never inspected. They called for new inspection, and it was inspected today and passed, but they didn't even know they had completed it a year ago, yet the reason I was given, wasn't that they thought it was never complete, they lied to me and told me it was because RBD changed their parameters!! They also wanted to give me a bid for a new water heater, I was told by RBD (regional building) that they weren't licensed for that scope of work and that they haven't changed any parameters. I would never have this company do any work for me, they have had very poor communication, don't seem to know what is happening with their company and employees, lied to me about RBD changing parameters and tried to upsell me for something they are not licensed to do.

Chris and his team, today we saw Noah and Jay, have been fabulous from the first visit in March of 2025. Chris educated us on our best options to replace our furnace, guided us on the best home humidifier, how and when to replace our filters appropriately and they've been so quick any time we've needed support. We love supporting a local business and everyone on the team is incredibly professional and kind. We look forward to using Chris and his team for the foreseeable future.

Christopher was prompt, professional, and thoroughly explained everything about my furnace repair, so that I fully understood what needed to be done. He went the extra mile to ensure I had heat that night. Christopher even restacked my storage containers that were located near the furnace.
