About

Donnelly Mechanical is a Queens Village-based commercial HVAC contractor serving office buildings, retail spaces, industrial and warehouse facilities, multifamily properties, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions within a 25-mile radius of its Queens, NY location. The company services the full range of commercial mechanical systems common to New York City's dense, mixed-use building stock: rooftop units, air handling units, boiler systems, chilled water and chiller systems, split systems, and heat pumps. That breadth matters in a market where a single property manager may oversee buildings with radically different infrastructure — a steam-heated prewar multifamily alongside a chiller-fed Class A office floor. Reviewed clients highlight Donnelly's responsiveness to both routine and urgent issues, as well as an approach that prioritizes cost-saving solutions over unnecessary work. Lou Rivera, a verified reviewer, notes that "solutions are devised to correct any concern, with an eye on saving the client $$$ and avoiding unnecessary costs" — a priority that aligns with how facility managers are typically held accountable for operating budgets. With a service radius covering Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the broader metro, Donnelly Mechanical operates in one of the most operationally demanding commercial HVAC markets in the country, where building density, code requirements, and occupied-space constraints make contractor reliability a direct operational risk.

Leaving Manhattan last night was absolute chaos! It took us over an hour just to get out of the city – every street was gridlocked no matter which way we turned. Thankfully, I ended up behind a Donnelly Mechanical truck and had a gut feeling this guy knew the way out. From Hell’s Kitchen to the Holland Tunnel, he led the way, and we owe him big time! Thank you, unsung hero in the Donnelly truck – you have no idea how awesome you were. Sincerely, The People in the Volvo Behind You Last Night.

One of their drivers almost hit my kids while we were crossing the street and then got out and threatened us because we had the right of way while crossing. When we called the company they fairly unresponsive.
