D and D did our heat and ac for our new house. We have had problems since we moved in on day one two years ago. There were 8 degree differences in two places in our house across a hallway from each other. They forgot to turn on something with our gas/heat and wouldn’t come out for a week to turn on something they forgot to do. Our windows stayed constantly fogged in two larger rooms. They tried to tell us our windows weren’t installed correctly when the problem was that very little air was blowing out in those rooms. We have continued to have humidity problems in these same rooms. We finally had a separate company come out. D and D put too large of a unit and did a poor job with the duct work. We’re now having to pay to have duct work redone after spending close to $60k on our system for our house. Do NOT use this company. They will deflect problems on anyone and everyone besides taking responsibility and fixing what was done incorrectly…This is coming from Dennis, the owner. I’m giving two stars instead of one, because one of their employees was helpful, but his hands were tied in that the system was already in place without having to do duct work replacement. Update—D and D came out three times after installation. Once was when they forgot to turn heat/gas on (unrelated to air). The first time related to air problems in 3 rooms, the owner, Dennis said it was a problem with installation of windows. Not true. The second time they came back out (at our builders request), the service tech spent most of the day here redoing duct work. The area that he redid was better; however, we still have moisture problems in 3 rooms. I have mold growing on my shoes in one of the rooms. We keep our air between 73-75. I was told by a builder and another air company (for second opinion) that the unit installed was too large and wasn’t running enough. It was a very costly mistake that I am paying the price for. D and D offered me to speak to Dennis today when I called. We are choosing to not work with Dennis and D&D in future when we build a secondary structure due to poor judgement and lack of responsibility in their error. Dennis does not address your concerns but will blame someone else for the mistakes made by his company. I wish he would’ve made things “right” but hasn’t yet after two opportunities. I am leaving this review, so others can know that D and D does not stand by their work. Unfortunately, I am the one paying the price.

Dennis and his team are the best. They are competitive price wise but their service sets them apart. Came out to replace a failed ac system and then came out a day later to check and make sure everything was running properly. All the team members we met were top notch. System they recommended is running fine and we are cool again!
