Quick Answers

What makes Cold Zone Refrigerated Trailer Rental a strong choice for commercial HVAC in New Orleans, LA?

Cold Zone Refrigerated Trailer Rental is a family-owned business based in Metairie, LA that specializes in mobile cold storage solutions for commercial operations including restaurants, bakeries, florists, and event caterers across the New Orleans metro area. Their trailers are delivered and picked up by the Cold Zone team, plug into a standard outlet, and can function as either a refrigerator or freezer with up to 409 cubic feet of storage — making them a practical emergency or overflow cold storage option for commercial facilities.

How much does a commercial HVAC unit cost?

Cold Zone Refrigerated Trailer Rental focuses on refrigerated trailer rentals rather than HVAC unit sales, and rental costs depend on the rental duration — daily, weekly, or monthly options are available — so facility managers should contact Cold Zone directly for a quote tailored to their specific cold storage needs.

How often should commercial HVAC filters be changed?

Cold Zone Refrigerated Trailer Rental provides mobile refrigerated trailer rentals rather than traditional HVAC maintenance services, so filter change schedules fall outside their scope; however, their trailers arrive clean and ready to use, with cleaning handled by the Cold Zone team between rentals.

About

Cold Zone Refrigerated Trailer Rental serves commercial businesses across the New Orleans metro area with mobile refrigerated trailer rentals delivered directly to the client's location in Metairie, LA and surrounding communities. The company is family-owned and operates within a 25-mile service radius that covers New Orleans, the West Bank, Chalmette, Slidell, Mandeville, Covington, Ponchatoula, Hammond, Baton Rouge, and even extending to Jackson, MS. Their trailers offer up to 409 cubic feet of cold storage, fit in a standard parking space, and plug into a standard household outlet — removing the need for special electrical infrastructure at a commercial site. For facility and property managers, Cold Zone's trailers are well-suited to emergency scenarios such as commercial refrigeration equipment failure, hurricanes, floods, or power outages — situations common in Gulf South operations. They also serve planned commercial needs including restaurant overflow storage, floral businesses managing perishable inventory, catering operations, and Mardi Gras or festival logistics. Each unit includes interior lighting, a lock, and a power cord, and can be configured as either a refrigerator or freezer. Customers such as Edible Arrangements Mandeville have used Cold Zone rentals for high-demand seasonal periods like Valentine's Day, citing reliable equipment and responsive service from the team. Rentals are available on daily, weekly, or monthly terms, with delivery and pickup handled entirely by Cold Zone.

Frequently Asked Questions

What commercial business types does Cold Zone serve?

Cold Zone serves restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and florists for ongoing commercial cold storage needs, as well as caterers, event organizers, and businesses responding to emergencies like equipment failure or storm-related power outages. Their service area covers the greater New Orleans metro and extends to Baton Rouge and Jackson, MS.

Can Cold Zone trailers handle both refrigeration and freezer storage?

Yes, Cold Zone trailers can be configured to function as either a refrigerator or a freezer, giving commercial operators flexibility depending on the type of perishable inventory they need to store. Each trailer offers up to 409 cubic feet of storage capacity.

Does Cold Zone deliver and retrieve the trailer, or does the renter transport it?

Cold Zone handles all delivery and pickup — their team drops the trailer at the commercial location at the start of the rental period and retrieves and cleans it when the rental ends. This removes the need for the facility to arrange transportation or specialized equipment.

What rental term options does Cold Zone offer for commercial operators?

Cold Zone offers daily, weekly, and monthly rental terms, allowing facility managers to match the rental duration to short-term emergency needs or longer planned events and operational gaps. Pricing is available by requesting a quote directly from Cold Zone.

Does a Cold Zone trailer require special electrical hookup at a commercial facility?

No special electrical infrastructure is required — Cold Zone trailers plug into a standard outlet, which means most commercial properties can accommodate them without modifications. Each trailer comes with its own power cord for straightforward setup.
