Cold Cloud Mechanical | HVAC Contractor

We worked with Cold Cloud to replace our HVAC system in our condo in Sept 2025. All in all, a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them. The quote with Alex was really easy and I appreciated that they gave me two options for different tiers of equipment and that they offer to do city inspections. Everything was clear and transparent and they gave me good options to consider. Their pricing was also competitive compared to other quotes I got. The installation itself is really high quality and well done. I feel like my unit is now one of the best installed ones on the roof. My only constructive comment was that there was a bit of miscommunication during scheduling. I conveyed to their project manager and he is aware of it and they are working on streamlining and improving it. I think a simple email with the expected schedules, expected location of the crane, etc., would have helped to make sure everyone is on the same page. I recommended them already to a neighbor and they also had a good experience. The neighbor had a small drywall issue and they stood behind their work and resolved it for her without any charge so they try really hard to provide good service and to make sure you are absolutely satisfied. So to sum it up, I think they provide great equipment and great installation at good prices. Whatever small hiccups they have with scheduling or communication, they are open to feedback and improvement so overall I highly recommend working with them.

Cold Cloud Mechanical replaced my old furnace with a Daikin 17.5 SEER2 heat pump. This is hands down, the dream HVAC contractor I have ever found and worked with. Thanks to Daikin's Comfort Pro contractors list where I found Cold Cloud Mechanical! It started with Alex who came out on a Saturday late afternoon for an estimate. With Alex's engineering background, the Heat pump system was designed perfectly from the get-go. The complete transparency in pricing, scope of work, time frame and contract/warranty terms are so compelling that I signed the contract right away. This was followed by Peter's pre-installation visit (unheard of from all my previous HVAC installation experiences). Peter's brilliant idea of using an adjustable metal stand allows full compliance with local codes without additional cost of a new concrete slab.The installation team with clear instructions from Peter was simply amazing! They paid so much attention to details and really took their time to make sure everything was done correctly and professionally.
