Charney Commercial Restaurant Equipment

I have never conducted business with Charney Commercial Restaurant Equipment, but I had an encounter with one of their pickup trucks on 28th St. heading westbound around 1:30 PM on 2/25/2026 that I feel is worth mentioning. The driver (who I assume was an employee) was traveling westbound and was driving very aggressively such as tailgating, cutting off vehicles, and nearly causing a collision. Traffic congestion can be frustrating, but that does not justify unsafe driving behavior that puts others at risk. I was unable to obtain the full license plate number, but the pickup truck’s plate began with “DLL.” I hope the company addresses this and reminds their drivers to operate company vehicles safely and courteously in the community.

I would have to say that I am quite disappointed with the customer service at this location. The location does have a great selection but when purchasing commercial equipment I found that I had to price check online to make sure I was getting a competitive price and my follow up concerns took a lot of calls to get addressed. I hoped that a physical store location would have better customer service than the online websites with cheaper prices but right now I am not sure it does. I do appreciate them trying to get my equipment to me timely and thevapology from the store manager on the lack of response.

This is a great place to go to. They have a lot of dishes and pretty much everything you need for your kitchen with great selection I highly recommend.
