We love Brothers Mechanical! They have taken care of us for 5+ years now. First they repaired our 20 year old heater. Which was great and lasted well! Then they did our swamp cooler to HVAC conversion and that was fantastic! Recently they put in a new hot water heater for us when ours failed (way beyond repair). We switched to Brothers for our HVAC and tankless hot water heater maintenance a couple years ago. I was annoyed that our previous company sent a kid with more experience in fast food than in HVAC by himself to do the service. During that visit, after doing the routine maintenance, the technician told me our system was dirty and needed to be cleaned. He showed me pictures and said it would be an extra $250 for them to do the cleaning. I asked, Why didn't you clean it while you were in there? I saw a couple Reddit recommendations for Brothers and gave them a call. They came out almost right away for routine maintenance. They didn't charge by the service provided but by the hour, $130/hr. That might seem like a lot, but they send mature, expert technicians who work efficiently and do not try to make jobs take longer just to make more money. For example, it can take an hour to flush a tankless hot water heater, but while that is going on, the technician does the HVAC maintenance. And likely, both services are finished in the same hour. And they didn't tell me my system needed to be cleaned, they just did it. Yesterday, Brothers sent Jason and an apprentice, David, to install a 240V line to a new electric stove and cap a gas line. They coordinated to start early. Jason explained in detail what they would be doing and they went about their business. They finished a little earlier than projected and left the work area perfectly clean. I completely trust Brothers with those functions in my house for which they provide services, which are a lot: HVAC, hot water heater, electrical.
