Bear Mechanical

Disappointed. I texted Mitch Monday evening about some water that I was finding underneath my furnace in my garage. I knew it had to be coming from the furnace but I obviously didn't know why. Mitch arrived Tuesday and within 2 minutes, he simply pushed the outlet plug to the condensation unit/tray and bingo, it kicked back on. I had apparently jiggled the cord putting away Christmas totes so it wasn't getting power. Had Mitch not fiddled with getting the cover on the furnace filter which I didn't ask him to do, he would have been out of my house within 2 minutes. He chose to bill me $189 for pushing in a cord into an outlet. I would not and could not have billed someone for that. I would imagine in the HVAC business one of the business goals is to retain customers. Yes, I understand the service fee but when you own the business you do have options in how you deal with your customers. I won't be recommending this business.
