Bayou South Mechanical Services did an excellent job with our heater repair. They were very punctual, showed up exactly when they said they would, and took the time to properly diagnose the issue instead of guessing. Their pricing was fair and affordable, which we really appreciated. The technician was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient, and our heater has been working perfectly since. I highly recommend Bayou South Mechanical Services to anyone needing reliable and honest HVAC work.

The only reason I’m giving this company a one-star review is because Google doesn’t allow zero stars. I have a home warranty, and Bayou South Mechanical was the company assigned to my claim. I should’ve done more homework on the reviews beforehand there’s clearly a recurring pattern of poor service. They consistently failed to respond, delayed everything, and clearly lacked the professionalism to handle the job. Thankfully, I was able to switch my claim to Southern Force Heating & Cooling here in the Lafayette area. Erin and her team at Bayou South Mechanical are without a doubt the worst service provider I’ve ever dealt with. Perhaps Erin’s law career is taking away from her ability to be a diligent leader, because it certainly shows in how this company operates. Thank God they never touched my AC based on other reviews, it seems like problems usually get worse after their repairs. Please do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can from this excuse of an AC company

Had a new HVAC system installed inside and out through home warranty. 3 months later, it was time to use the heater. No heat. I had asked that they come back out and check their work, and they refused, stating that home warranty claim labor is only backed for 30 days. I had to pay for a new claim, and as it turns out, the gas line is not even connected to the new unit. This was installed incorrectly to begin with. Very poor service and follow through.
