Being in business for 38 years I thought it would be no problem setting up a cash account with Baker Dist. We have all the proper licenses and insurance to work in 3 different states. After submitting an application, our company was declined because we are a sole proprietorship. Bakers new policy is they only want to do business with LLC or corporations. There are many local contractors that have current Baker accounts that are sole proprietors. I guess those customers were grandfathered in. This is discrimination towards small businesses and I would be surprised if that policy is legal.

Sad during everything going on I couldn't buy a part for my ac because they don't sell to the general public. Reply to owner: that is understandable but why would a homeowner pay 400 dollars for a repair when the part at Grainger only cost me 8 dollars.
