My husband scheduled an appointment for a routine colonoscopy consultation in May 2023. During the consultation, Dr. Rowe recommended an abdominal scan, which he underwent after the appointment. However, due to the inclusion of this additional test, the office did not bill the insurance as a routine consultation. Without sending us a bill, they automatically charged his credit card (on file) $215. He didn't know about the charge prior until he got the notification from credit card app. After numerous calls with both insurance and Dr. Rowe's office, they said would escalate the case for resolution. Unfortunately, we have not received any further communication from them, and it is now September 2023. We are vey disappointed with Dr Rowe and his office's billing.

Honestly pretty terrible doctor. Follows classic protocol blindly and if the fully researched treatments do not help you, he simply gives you an antidepressant and pushes you away. For example, i had endoscopy that only biospied for h pylori. It was negative and ppis were not helping my symptoms. And thats all it took for him to give up and just prescribe me an antidepressant. I get it that you want to do what the research says, but research only goes so far and you have to use your own brain and intuition to figure things out, not just give up on your patient. Its pretty funny that I was able to predict every diagnosis he would make or treatment decision based on google. How useful! He was very condescending when he prescribed me the antidepressant and even got angry at me for asking for another test, saying i was wasting my time. Let me decide what to do with my time and I wouldn't need to ask for another test if my issues were resolved. What does he expect? To just give up and suffer because he doesn't immediately know what's wrong. Honestly, ridiculous doctor that probably only cares about the money. Im not an argumentative or critical person but im very disappointed with the care i received if you can call it that. Tdlr: Dr. Google > Dr. Rowe unfortunately. Edit: Just realized his negligence was even worse looking at my sibo test results. Told me it was negative and that I was wasting my time doing it, but I had a flatline result which, according to the testing company, can indicate hydrogen sulfide sibo. Wonder why Dr. Rowe refused to mention this, especially when it is clearly written in the results analysis. Laziness perhaps? Not a profitable usage of his time? haha

My mother had gone to Dr Rowe 5 times complaining about blood in her stool, a lot of it. Each time he said they were not going to do a colonoscopy because it was not needed. He stated that it doesn’t matter how much she was bleeding that she didn’t have colon cancer. That it was either Diverticulitis or hemroids. After the fifth visit my mom was bleeding so badly that my dad had to drive her to the emergency room. After the ER they ordered a colonoscopy and my mom came out with stage 3 colon cancer. Because of him my moms life is ruined. After surviving stage 3 colon cancer my mother can no longer eat foods she loves and has to wear a diaper every day. This is a high powered executive woman who can no longer live life the way she used to because Dr Rowe was negligent. If I could give him a zero I would. Please save yourself and do not go to this doctor. He’s an incompetent Dr. and everyone should be warned.
