Aloha State Services came to our rescue when we sought a second quote for work on our 20 year old cooling system, after we were told we needed to replace it. Mark and his team were able to diagnose the problem and get the system up and running smoothly for a tiny fraction of what it would have cost us to replace it. We will need to replace the system eventually, but the Aloha State Services team has kept us cool and comfortable and we will definitely give them our business when the time comes to replace. Jason Kalahele, brother of the owner Mark misdiagnosed an equipment issue telling me that it would cost over $1000 to completely refurbish the freezer. During his visit he also cut my cctv security camera lines and stayed talking to my female employee creeping her out for 3 hours. I got a second opinion from Eddies Refrigeration and the guy found that a simple blocked vent was the issue and charged me $150. Got an invoice from Aloha State for over $350 for the visit and misdiagnosis. They never offered to fix or pay for the cctv video camera line damage and when confronted Mark stonewalled me and sent our invoice to collections. This is a company who I had given thousands of dollars in business to over 2 years. Not pono by a long shot. Absolutely do not recommend.

Significantly over charged for labor. Just under $700 for 2.5 hours to replace a leaky line on a residential unit. Recommend a second opinion.
