I have used Advantage HVAC for 16 years now. They have installed Furnace/AC at 2 of my properties. They are honest, prompt and communicative across all lines. Wouldn't use any other company!

Questionable business practice. They start charging from the time they leave their building, not just when they arrive on site. We contacted Advantage A/C for a problem with our cooler. The technician said a rusty port had to be replaced before adding Freon. He spent a long time searching his truck for the replacement port, then left for over an hour to buy the part. For an HVAC company, it was surprising that such a basic part wasn’t stocked. The final bill was $580, mostly for the time. When I questioned the charges, the owner, Matt, said there was nothing he could do. Now my cooler stopped working again. When I checked the compressor, the same rusty port was still there and had not been replaced as I was told. Poor service, questionable workmanship, and disappointing business practices. I would not choose this company for future service.

Zero integrity. Came out to service the units and put new filters in. Ended up putting in a new inducer motor and thermostats without my permission. Said they talked to someone in the building, which would’ve been a customer as no staff was here, and they said it was OK. But did not call or ask my permission or tell me a price. Tried to bill me double what it should’ve costed. I said I wasn’t OK paying that price when I didn’t even approve it and wasn’t notified. Matt (owner) then showed what a solid businessman he is by cussing at and hanging up on me. I then emailed to tell him I’d be happy to work something fair out with him. Didn’t hear back for a month then got a bill for the thermostats and two hours of labor (Took them 10 minutes to install on camera). Thought it was funny they didn’t try to charge me for the inducer motor, but then realized I have them on camera stealing it off of my unit. When I called today to tell him my unit wasn’t working, he lied and said it still needs an inducer motor and they never installed it, even though he was trying to bill me $1600 for it a month ago. But still threatened to come take the thermostats if I didn’t pay him $600 for two thermostats you can buy off Amazon for $40 and 10 minutes of labor. Had someone come out to look at the units today and the attached pic is how they left my unit. Inducer motor gone, didn’t even bother putting the old one back on, and destruction of property. Also didn’t even bother trying to put the cover back on to hide “his work.” A coward, liar, and a thief.
