Amazing they have nothing but bad reviews for their drivers and I can see why. Car C-370 was trying to drive people off the road going 20 over on the 417 this morning. Was tailgating and weaving all over many cars. Funny thing I was actually on this companies website yesterday and thinking about hiring them but they clearly don't care about safety on the road and definitely don't with their jobs either.

If only I could leave negative stars. We're a family-run business and hired Advanced Refrigeration to fix a commercial rack system because compressors were repeatedly failing. Without fixing the problem, they installed new compressors (against our advice) which killed those compressors too. They acknowledged their error and told us it would be replaced under warranty (Tech Larry, text Feb 19, 11:49am). They re-installed new compressors and did that incorrectly too. When those new compressors failed, they came in the middle of the night and shut the system down ( invoice 341979 - $589 - of note, this was to shut down a system that they had replaced - the notes on the invoice say, follow up required), and then refused to return calls or respond (for MONTHS). Then we were presented with the bill. We've paid tens of thousands of dollars already and are presented with a bill for 50k more. For work not completed. We were over 6 months without refrigeration in our store, losing sales. We have documentation via texts and emails where they acknowledge their errors and offered reductions because of it. Ultimately we refused to pay for a compressor that we have text messages saying we would not be charged for. At that time, they began threatening to place a lien if we don't pay the full amount. BEWARE of doing business with such a shady company. We hired 5 Star Refrigeration and they quickly fixed the problem and got us back up and running. EDIT BASED ON COMPANY RESPONSE: Pre-existing problems are described above, which they expressed confidently that they could fix. However, they missed the simple solution that it took 5 Star Refrigeration a matter of days to solve (highly recommend them instead, btw!). Instead, Advanced performed many unnecessary repairs that had nothing to do with the problem. We paid for those unnecessary items - the bills in dispute are because Advanced killed our compressors multiple times and we have photos of their tech ( Larry, text Feb 19, 11:49am) saying that it would be covered and there would be no charge. Our attorney has provided this info. Also, of note (and perhaps most importantly) the sentence - "all repairs were approved as they were discovered" - there are no approved estimates, no approved signatures for repair - the only thing there is are texts apologizing for errors and saying that the compressors would be covered under warranty since it was their error. Attorneys and Advanced have evidence of this. "Before our corrective work was finished, you made the decision to replace" - this was after 6+ MONTHS of calling, texting, and emailing. Your techs came in the middle of the night and shut off our refrigeration. We were promised visits for weeks until finally no one would respond to us. (We have photos of texts - Mar 27, Mar 28, April 3, April 4, etc) I would encourage anyone considering using this company to check out our Facebook page to see the posts of apology for not having frozen product during these 6+ MONTHS where we were being ghosted by Advanced Refrigeration. We also have copies of emails where we gave many weeks notice that we were going to have the system replaced (these rack systems take months to make - they had LOTS of notice) and imploring them to come out to see how the system had been left in the middle of the night when their techs turned it off. (In our email to Advanced: "In fact, until October 6th, if somebody can come out to the store, I can demonstrate exactly that. I also have a video that shows it happening. I encourage somebody to PLEASE come out to our store and I’ll happily show you the condition of the rack as it was left back in March.") Let those dates sink in - How they left it in March and we're still trying to get attention in October) We did ultimately decide to have the system replaced. 5 Star got it functioning but we opted to spend the money on replacement rather than put additional $$ into a longer term fix. If you are considering using this company, please reach out and I will send pics of evidence. Just don't want anyone else to get scammed.

AC stopped blowing cold Sunday afternoon. Called Monday (7:30) morning and left message with answering service. Received text shortly asking if 9-10 Monday morning was a good time for service. I confirmed and tech was here by 9:10. He left about 30 minutes later with the AC blowing cold again. Diagnosed capacitor was bad and replaced. Very happy customer.
